“Hot Fuzz” is a British comedy staring Simon Pegg (who also stared in “Shawn of The Dead”) and Nick Frost (also from “Shawn of The Dead”). The comedy duo that turned a zombie out-break into a problem about “Where’s the beer at?” and “Hey watch this” now play as cops in this hilarious movie. The movie opens up with a monologue from the main character “Nicholas Angel” (Played by Simon Pegg), telling the audience about all the training he went through to all the awards he has gotten over many years of police service, and a perfect example of what a police officer should be. One morning when he get gets ready for work he gets called in by his superiors to talk about his future as a police officer, and is given a promotion to Sergeant, that of course he was happy about until they told him “You’re becoming a Sergeant in Sandford, Gloucestershire”, which is a suburban area that hasn’t had a single murder or any serious crimes in 20 years, but the only reason they are sending him there is because he makes all other police officers in London look bad, and with that he is sent to Sandford, Gloucestershire to become the acting Sergeant of the area. But is this “innocent” town too good to be true? Find out in this dark comedy that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish and will make you laugh. “By the power of Greyskull” this is a great watch.
