Twitches Too

Tonight I watched Twitches Too. In this sequel, the twin witches start school, have boy troubles, and are getting hints that their father, Aron, is alive. Unfortunately, Thantos is also becoming more powerful and to bring their father back is also risking bringing their evil uncle back. To avoid this, Miranda encourages the girls to perform a vanquishing spell during an eclipse. Alex is wary about this because she believes her father is still alive and wants to save him, so she unsuccessfully tries to convince Camryn to do a freedom spell instead. After the spell is performed, Alex runs to her father’s study to try and save him and unknowingly brings back Thantos, who seeks to kill his brother once and for all. With Miranda and the twins giving him strength, Aron defeats his brother! The movie ends happily with Karsh and Ileana getting married with all their family and friends alongside them, including the twins’ love interests, Marcus and Demitri. Mostly everyone from the first film is portrayed by the same actors except Ileana, though it was hard to catch because the actresses play her very similar to one another. This was slightly upsetting to learn, as I did really like Jennifer Robertson in this role, but Leslie Seiler does alright as well and has great chemistry with Pat Kelly, who plays Karsh. Tia and Tamera Mowry were still good in their roles. Kristen Wilson, who plays Miranda, the twins’ birth mother and Queen of Coventry, played a slightly bigger role in the sequel and was good as well. Arnold Pinnock and Karen Holness, who play Camryn’s adoptive parents were great in their roles and made me absolutely love their characters! I really enjoyed that the twins had romantic interests, but that really wasn’t the main plot at all. The biggest thing I didn’t like about this film was that, unlike the first one, Alex and Camryn were constantly arguing and only got along at Karsh and Ileana’s wedding. The movie even started with them bickering! It was frustrating.
